Sabrin Hassan

Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist

LANGUAGE(S): English

You’re allowed to hit rock bottom; from there the only way is up.”

BIO

Sabrin is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, having obtained a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Mental Health. Her clinical practice is rooted in a client-centred approach as she believes that individuals are the experts when it comes to their lives. She believes that the therapy process is not linear but rather multifaceted and multidimensional. For this reason, Sabrin focuses on establishing a strong therapeutic alliance and creating a space where one can learn, unlearn, inspire and aspire.

Sabrin recognizes that life experiences can alter an individual’s understanding of the self and lead to a sense of uncertainty. Rather than viewing this as a setback, she frames it as an ideal opportunity to support individuals who seek healing and are ready to make impactful changes in their lives. She employs a combination of evidence-based therapeutic methods to draw from the strength of her clients and empower them to establish a sense of identity that is more resilient, self-aware, and compassionate
