About me

Bio

Sabrina is a Child and Youth Therapist, Ontario Certified Teacher, and Registered Psychotherapist with over 14 years of experience within clinical, community, and educational settings. Her philosophy of practice is person-centred and collaborative. She believes that human worth is inherent and not based on various conditions that are often imposed as determinants of success and accomplishments. Sabrina’s practice supports the principle that positive mental health and holistic wellness involves learning to recognize and overcome the vicious cycles of anxiety, depression, rumination, trauma, fear, and guilt that can often characterize our lives. She views acceptance and self-compassion as a life-long endeavour that is essential in helping her clients adapt to turmoil of the past and establish the foundation for personal growth. As a therapist and educator, Sabrina is well versed in a variety of therapeutic and treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Therapy (MT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Psychodynamic Counseling. She is committed to ensuring that her clients feel safe, validated, and worthy as they approach healing through psychotherapy. Through authentic engagement, empowerment, and a holistic approach to care, Sabrina’s goal is to support her clients in navigating stressors and building a strong foundation for mental health and wellness to be built upon.
